Ross started walking this week! He only takes a couple of steps at a time right now, but we are so proud of him!

If You're Happy and You Know It...

Well, I just heard on Jay Leno's monologue that today is supposedly the "gloomiest" day of the year. Well, that may be, but as my friend Theresa was reminding me this evening, we serve a good God and that makes everything okay!
In fact, I smiled all afternoon. We were in the car earlier and the kids were in the back seat. Because they are still facing backwards I can't see them while I'm driving. Well, I started singing for them "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands." After I sang the first line I heard these little bitty claps from the back seat. As I sang the whole song the children clapped and clapped. They were these sweet little baby claps. I don't know about the kiddos, but it made me happy! :)

Funny Kids

You know, one thing I'm always surprised about (don't know why, but I am) is how funny the kids are! Nathan and I just find ourselves cracking up all day long at whatever silly thing the kids are doing. Whether it is chasing each other around the table, Noelle taunting Ross with a bite of food, clapping when we sing, or whatever, it is just fun and funny to be with the kids.

Ice and Snow!

Ice and Snow! Well, we've been "iced" in for over a week! We did let the kids sit out on the ice (very clean, since it is hard as a rock!). Neither cared too much for the cold, but Noelle managed a smile or two. Ross was just investigating everything!

Fun Day

We had a fun day, but we are very ready for the snow to clear! We are all getting cabin fever! The kids sure have gotten a lot of play out of their new Christmas/Birthday toys, though! Here's a picture of the kids playing with their zebra bouncer. They both laughed and thought it was so funny!
