This was taken at Brittany's birthday party at the skating rink. The kids LOVED roller skating! Ross especially wanted to skate with Braden which he got to do! Ross was very daring and was pretty good at skating before the party was over!
Noelle cried when we first got her skates. We couldn't figure out why because we really thought she was excited about skating. She just kept saying, "I didn't want these!" (about the skates). It wasn't until the very end when we got her shoes back that we found out that when I went and "turned in her shoes" and got the skates she thought that we "turned her shoes into skates!" So, the whole time she thought that when I gave the guy her shoes (we had to trade them in at first), that he turned them into skates and she didn't want that because they were her favorite shoes, lol! Oh well! She didn't stay sad long and really loved skating! She was even more pleased when she got her shoes back! :)
