Well, who would have guessed it! Today is the last weekend in March and we have a ton of snow falling down! The kids didn't know it when they first got up, but I told them to go to the window and they saw the snow! The first thing Ross thought of was building a snow man! So he asked if we could do that and I said yes, of course! This was our first real snow of the year and last year the kids didn't really like the snow. In fact Ross mainly cried last year about being cold and didn't want to put his feet in it! Anyway, that wasn't the case today!
When we first went outside the kids just loved walking in the snow but right away Ross wanted to start a snowman. His main source of excitement was that we had a real carrot for the nose!

Here are the kids with their first snowman! We used leaves for the eyes and a carrot nose. They were so proud!
Ross started a snowball fight! I am guessing he must have seen this on TV as I certainly didn't suggest it! ha ha! But, they only threw a few handfuls and their aim isn't that great anyway so no one was sad!
Here is Ross putting the carrot nose on! And, yes, those are socks on his hands instead of gloves! I couldn't find their gloves so this was our next step! He was happy that one of his "gloves" was blue and didn't care they were really socks! Oh, and I love how hard he is concentrating on his carrot in this picture!

I'm sitting here in shorts while I read today's post :) Great pictures! I love the leaf eyes; they make him look sleepy.
