Okay, now that Nathan is working outside the house, I can no longer go grocery shopping during nap time! So, today we went to Super Wal-Mart instead of my neighborhood Wal-Mart store because they have these special carts with two seats at the front. That is all well and good, but these things are GIGANTIC! You can see the cart in the picture below. That is not a small cart. It is a normal sized cart with an added huge plastic seat section at the front. Now, I'm not complaining, mind you, because I have tried putting one child in the seat at the front and one in the basket (of a normal cart) and that does NOT work currently! The "back" child doesn't seem to understand the concept of sitting while Mommy is pushing the cart. So...I am grateful for the fancy cart, however, I do feel that a commercial driver's license might be a good idea! I lost count of the number of things I ran into and I kept having to apologize to other shoppers because I was unable to move my cart over for people to pass. I'm sure I will get used to it! Anyway, we had a successful trip, though, and the kids did great! You can't tell it from the pictures, but I think they actually enjoyed sitting this way. :)

Brave mom should have been your sub-title! i've used that thing once I think with Haile and Allison G. It was a pain! Once preschool starts, you'll be doing ALL your shopping while they're in school! I've really learned how to buy for a whole week. I hate going to the store. I now understand why there's people there at midnight....they wait until all their kids are in bed! (and the lines are short!)
I hear ya sister! Doesn't help that it was restocking day, does it? Its a wonder I didn't run one of them workers down! That card holder won't ever be the same! ha ha ha! I never would've thought to take my camera and take a pic of this. you are so crazy, but I just might copy you.
Too funny, Leanne! I am so proud of you, really!!! I'm so glad the kids love it, Ty would be trying to figure a way to jump out!!!
i hate those carts! brecken always wants to use one but they are so hard to steer! the way you tell the story cracks me up! heehee
I would be disappointed if you didn't have a camera with you at all times:)
I hate those carts, too! But luckily McKenna tries to escape from them, so I have an excuse to not use them when Tatum asks! very fun post!
That is so funny, I can just vision you trying to avoid things and people!!
